Women on a Mission

In September 2006 these four dedicated women launched this website to raise the awareness of "living donations" for those in need of a kidney transplant in Western New York. Since that time 20 people on our website have now received the "Gift of Life"

IIt is absolutely against the law to have any financial benefit from organ donation. There is a potential for complications for this type of surgery. Anyone interested in being an organ donor should contact their physician prior to testing.

WNYKidneyConnection.org is a site for potential living kidney donors and people in need on the Buffalo waiting list to communicate.  Over the past two years, this type of venue has been the meeting place for donors and recipients across the country.  We hope that this site will help our neighbors and friends make that connection and that more people will be able to give and receive the gift of life.
