Hello my name is Dan Cimato and I just turned 50, I have ESRD which is end stage renal disease which means my kidneys do not function anymore and I need dialysis to survive. I was in a motorcycle accident in 1982 and my kidneys were damaged and they surgically repaired one, and it worked for 20 years. I began to have renal failure in late 2001 and began dialysis in early 2002. I am divorced and have a 12 year old son. I work part time at a group home and enjoy it. I enjoy helping people, I volunteered for meals on wheels for a year and a half until my health deteriorated. I also enjoy woodworking, old muscle cars and camping to name a few, but health and time constraints restrict these activities. I would love to take my son camping again. I need a live donor kidney and I would really appreciate one. My transplant Hospital is ECMC and my transplant coordinator is Nancy, 898-6252 my blood type is B+. Thank you for reading my profile. |
