Brian Loveless
lives in Jamestoen, NY

I'm tall, 6 foot 6 to be exact. Short dark brown hair, hazel eyes, I love to just have fun because life is way too short. I play high school basketball and I just play for fun too. I like alot of sports but college basketball is my favorite to watch and I love the Tar Heels of UNC. I also love cars. I love to fix them and I love the speed. I also want to start a band or join one.

Brian received a kidney!

The new computer 17-year-old Brian Loveless received a week and a half ago from the Make-A-Wish Foundation was only his second wish.

His first wish was for the kidney transplant he needed to stay alive — a wish that was fulfilled late last week.

‘‘Three days after Make-A-Wish was here, they called us,’’ said Maxine Loveless, Brian’s mother. ‘‘He’s up at Buffalo General. I was up there visiting him on Sunday, and everything seems to be OK.’’

They don’t know much about the donor, she said. All they know is that the kidney came from a recently deceased 19-year-old in Florida — all the more reason for people to sign the back of their driver’s license approving the donation of their organs in the event of death, she said.

Brian received both his first and second wishes.
