Hi, this is my cousin, Dianne. She has been on dialysis (3 days a week) for over 3 years now. We are looking for anyone who can help her with a kidney. Due to multiple family health problems or not being a match we don't have that option right now. Dianne was days from receiving a kidney from her sister-in-law last year when it had to be cancelled due to health issues of the donor, who no longer is an option. That was very, very hard on both of them. Dianne has been staying active/healthy--walking daily and has joined the YMCA to exercise and try to stay in shape and as healthy as possible so when she does have a surgery she will have the greatest chance for success. Dianne and her husband would really LOVE to start a family but cannot do that until some time after a successful kidney transplant. The sooner she has a transplant, the sooner she can get healthier to see if that is an option. It is very hard for them to watch all the family starting families and that is not an option for them right now. Dianne would really LOVE to get back to work too. She had to quit her job and is now on Social Security Disability--but would love to get off the system and back to work. Both her and her husband have family out of state and overseas and it is not an option for them to visit anyone any more with Dianne's illness. If you can help her, p-l-e-a-s-e!!!! She is blood Type A. She is on the list at Buffalo General and we can only hope that someone can help before it is too late. She does not have a computer/email right now, so if you email, you will get me--which is fine. However, the phone number (716-807-1581) is her cell phone. Please consider helping Dianne if you are able to-- Thank you for your time, Stephanie/her cousin
